The interface of this spyware remover software is nicely designed and all the information is in one place. It should be easy to navigate and find the options you are looking for. This spyware remover software is  not the best looking interface we've seen and the simplicity is partially because there are no features. Obtaining spyware updates is a little more difficult. You must update manually and it doesn't tell you if there is an update available or what it is.

Features, Rated 4
The feature set of this spyware remover is very limited. It does not offer real time monitoring or control of spyware components. It just detects and deletes existing spyware. This spyware remover software does have rollback capabilities, to undo the spyware you removed. There is no automatic update feature (only manual) or scheduled scanning capabilities. It also won't scan removable media like floppy discs.

Ease of Installation and Setup, Rated 4.5
The installation and download of this spyware remover software is quick and easy. Once installed, it takes longer to do an initial scan of your hard drive.

Help and Documentation, Rated 4
The help button on this product gives a very basic tutorial of how to use this spyware remover software but it doesn't go into depth on any of the features. The home website does offer a FAQs page about the features, along with email and phone number to contact their technical support. When we tried using the email support, we did get a quick response.

Effectiveness, Rated 4
SpyHunter is effective at finding spyware or adware components that may be on your PC but it is very slow. When something is found, it provides a very brief description and severity rating.

Summary
Despite the limit feature set, SpyHunter is easy to use and effective to detecting spyware. It does come with a free popup blocker though.
